Spring dating tips from matchmaker Krystal Walter
Whether you’re lusting after a spring fling, craving more romance in your current relationship, or ready to break free from the COVID lockdown, now is the time to take action. Spring is around the corner, and if you’ve noticed you are ready for a change, you are not alone. Spring time boosts in energy and confidence are common.
The Spring Equinox this year is on March 20, which is a representation of new life, light and new beginnings. Take the time now for yourself.
Krystal Walter, founder and matchmaker with Krystal Walters Matchmaking says that spring is the perfect time for romance. “Warmer spring weather puts everyone in a good mood. It is prime time for singles to get out and meet new people” she says. If you’re hoping to fill your spring with more love, romance and sex, here are a few things to keep in mind.
Put down the remote, step away from the Netflix and explore the outdoors. Walter says this is one of the easiest ways to put some spark back in your love life. “If you're sick of movie nights and screen time after the long winter and COVID lockdowns, swap it out for a local rooftop patio dinner, or a picnic in the park. The increase in daylight will give you more energy, and will put you both in a great mood.”
As Walter points out, spring is “the perfect time to assess what's working for you and what isn't.” While you’re cleaning out your hall closet and throwing out that pair of yoga pants that have seen better days, Walters suggests doing the same with your love life.
“Go through your phone or email contacts and delete old numbers; get rid of ex’s or anyone else who bogging you down. Doing so will leave you feeling refreshed and ready to fill that space with new people and new beginnings!”
